This is going to be my last blog for the school year, but I may end up continuing this later. So, in the book that I have been reading, Jesus was just confronted by a pharisee and he gave Jesus a hard time about claiming he was the Messiah. Then Jesus began to scold the Pharisee and question his faith: "You are Israel's teacher, and do you not understand these things?"(Bill O'Reilly pg. 83 of the book "The last Days of Jesus")
Jesus knew how to scold in a non-condescending and non-accusing way. Sometimes it was needed for someone to see their flaws in order to change. Jesus loved all of humanity and it bothered him when God's children didn't listen to his chosen Son (Jesus). Jesus always knew the right words to use in the right moments. He was able to minister to many people exactly where they needed it.
This is my last blog, once again. For the final time I would like to ask a question: Out of your own knowledge, What do you know about the Pharisees? It can be anything, or it can be nothing. I just want to put that question out for discussion. Thank you all for reading my post, and have a great weekend!
